The weather here in the Netherlands has been quite crappy these past few days.. It did limit our motivation of going outside somewhat but we manage to hike through another national park called “Sallandse Heuvelrug”. The park consists mostly out of a large heather with some nice flowing hills. We enjoyed being here a lot, there were not many people around and the area was beautiful.
This week we also have left our awesome BnB near Zwolle and moved up further north into the province of Drenthe. During our car journey, we stopped along the way for lunch at a cool looking restaurant near the edge of a forest area. When we arrived at our new destination we were warmly welcomed by the owner. The BnB is located next to a large farm house and surrounded by horses. The BnB itself is very large and looks very new. We will be doing just fine here 😉
Here in Drenthe we have quite some sightseeing planned and we’re looking forward to do some more hiking too. We will report these soon! Bye for now!
