Sightseeing in Yokohama
China Town Yokohama
After our adventure in the Gundam Factory we wanted to do some sightseeing in Yokohama and if we find out there is a China Town, we go for it. This time Yokohama is up. The China Town in Yokohama is a great place to eat and normally we do this. This time we are on a budget and enjoyed a bento from the supermarket. By the way, these bento’s from the supermarket are fresh. Most of the time you can find a microwave near the exit to warm them. Because the Japanese eat their hot meals at noon, the supermarket are selling the bento for less after a certain time. That’s normally around 17:00h. Back to China Town. We wanted to visit the temple Kuan Ti Miao which was a Taoist Temple. It was small, but had a lot of decoration.

Sankei-en Garden Yohohama
Sankei-en Garden was actually not on our to do list for sightseeing in Yokohama. This was a garden we happened to find while searching Google Maps. It is an old garden in which a part was only to be visited after 1900. We are talking about the inner garden. This inner garden is the most magical part of the garden. There are many old houses and tea places. The most of them were build in Kyoto and moved here. There is also a pagoda a magnificent view on the sea and the harber.
