This week we headed over to the popular tourist sight called Tsukiji fish market or often called the Tsukiji Outer Market. This area is famous in Tokyo, because this used to be the market where all the freshly caught fish where auctioned and sold to restaurants around Tokyo. The area around the auction was a hotspot of restaurants and bars and a prime spot in Tokyo to enjoy fresh seafood. These days the actual fish market is moved to the new Toyosu area but a lot of the restaurants in Tsukiji remained.
