Mt Fuji-san
For some reason we did not meet with Mount Fuji-san last year. Normally you would consider the majestic mountain in the middle of Japan to be a must visit attraction. Maybe thats why we thought we would eventually visit it at some point in the future. That day was today. We went on a bus tour to visit the area around the base of Mount Fuji and finally see the most well-known mountain in the world. Tokyo Minato Shrines Tour

Shimokitazawa
This week we found ourselves strolling through a very hip area of Tokyo. If you are looking for small coffee shops, vintage clothing and good food, this is it, Shimokitazawa.

Ariake Big Sight Tokyo
This week we found ourselves in a little less known area of Tokyo called Ariake. The tourists have not yet found this place but we are pretty confident they will soon. It’s a very interesting place to walk around because of its futuristic architecture, big plazas and modern shopping malls. You will also find some impressive stadiums here which were built for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Come join us in this weeks video!

Early Morning Asakusa
Asakusa is a very nice place to walk around. Even the Shrine Senso-ji is very nice to see.

Tsukishima shinto and sea view
Tsukishima is a lovely place to walk and explore. There are many thing to see.

Tshukishima with very nice restaurants. They were all filled with people.

Sumida
On our last day in Japan we visited the Akasaka guesthouse in Tokyo. We spend a lot of time in Sumida.

New Year in Tokyo
We went to Senso-Ji with New Years eve and it was really crowded. A day after we went to Zojo-Ji and the Tokyo Tower, they were very nice.

Walk through Fukuoka’s Parks
We went to Fukuoka and walked through multiple parks and saw the castle ruins of Fukuoka.

Nagasaki
We went to Nagasaki and explored the city a bit. We went to China Town, the Seaside Park, Dejima, peacepark and A-Bomb.

Kumamoto castle
We went to Kumamoto Castle and went to Mount Aso. An active volcano.

Temple in Hiroshima
We went to Miyajima island. There we climbed the Mt. Misen. We also went to Mitaki-dera temple.

Hiroshima atomic bombing
We went to Hiroshima Atomic Peace centre museum and learned about the history. We also visited the Hiroshima castle and the Shukkeien Garden. Which were very nice.

Okayama has wonderful places
We went to Okayama Castle and walked through Korakuen garden in Okayama. The colors were wonderfull.

Beauties in Himeji
We went to Himeji to visit the Castle. After that we visited the Koko-en Garden.

Nara Park
We walked through Nara Park and had some very nice views. The Today-Ji temple is a very big place we had to visit.

Visited our last two places in Kyoto
We visited the Nijo castle and the Toji temple in Kyoto. This was our last Kyoto trip.

Walk along one of the nicest paths
Fishimi Inari Taisha was a real good climb with a magnificent forrest and the Imperial Palace has a very nice garden.
