The beautiful chambers of Al Hambra

    10 April 2022 /

But first We are sorry about letting you in the dark for so such a long time. Al Hambra After our stop with the car and our engine sign still on, we drove to Al Hambra (Red Palace) in Granada. The place was magnificent. First, we went to visit the Palace of Nasrid. Everywhere we looked, we saw beautiful walls. The palace is the only surviving palatine city of the Islamic Golden age. If you go there, you really have to visit this palace. At some places in the castle we could still see traces of the militairy. Drive home We stayed in Spain for one more night and went…

    The house and Mykines

    20 September 2021 /

The house Last week we arrived at our stay in Korfos. A nice town next to the Golf of Egina. The seawater is really refreshing and the town has a lot of restaurants. It’s a wonderful place to stay in. In the weekends it’s very busy, but the rest of the week it’s quiet. Our house is large, it has a pool and enough bedrooms to fit seven people. A great place to stay. Mykines archeological sites We went to Mykines for some ancient archeological sites of Greece. The first was the Palace of Mycenae. A lot of the treasure that was found here was placed in the museum of…

    Cycling and Palace Het Loo

    25 June 2021 /

The last two days we did some cycling and we visited palace “Het Loo”. Cycling We chose to cycle through Ermelo and back. The part of the route that we thought was nice to cycle through was the forest between Garderen and Drie. Between the pictures you’ll find a map of our route. It was a total amount of 41 km. This was more then we used to ride. Palace Het Loo This palace is located in Apeldoorn and was inhabited until 1975 by the Dutch royal family. The palace gardens were big and if you got nothing better to do you can stay in them forever, or till the…
