Huashan Creative Park

The first day in Taiwan we went to see the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall lying in Taipei. On our way there we came across a factory that was turned into a creative park. Called Huashan 1914 Creative Park. It was a small park with a lot of small shops. They sold small wooden statues and a lot of cartoon stuff. It looked fun for young and older people.

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is inside a big, white building in the middle of a park. Inside the memorial is a bronze statue of Chiang Kai. The statue is guarded by two guards that will change every hour. When we watch from the top of the building down into the park, we saw two buildings in Chinese temple style. One of them is a theatre and the other is a concert hall. The park surrounding the Memorial Hall is very green and nice.
