Walk along one of the nicest paths
Fushimi Inari Taisha walk
We came to see walk along one of the nicest paths we could find here in Japan. It starts from the Fushimi Inari Taisha temple and goes to the top of the mountain. The walk exists out of a 1000 Torii Gates. On the top there is no viewing point, but we enjoyed the walk very much. In the beginning we thought it was very crowded with people. But after we walked for maybe one kilometer, we saw that the roads were splitting up. The people that wanted to climb the mountain became less. When we went up, we had a nicer view than we had downstairs. The forest seemed to be darker and rougher than it was downstairs. We really liked it. On our way we saw many shrines and places of worship.

Royal Palace Garden
After our walk on the mountain, we went to the Imperial Palace, but to get there took a long time and the gate of the palace was closed at 15:20. We had to come back the next day to enter. So, we walked around at the premisses a little bit.
Inside the Royal Palace
We went back to the Imperial Palace the next morning. The Palace is dated back to the year 784, but they do not know when it was built. We could see inside of the palace at some place, but most of all we saw the outside and the gardens. They were very beautiful. The palace ground was also very large. There are to palace buildings and we think one of the two is still being used.

We had a wonderful time in the Imperial Palace. And the climb of the Fushimi Inari Taisha walk was hard, but it was worth it. If you want to know more about the aquarium we enjoyed in Osaka, go to Osaka Aquarium and city center ยป Japan (timellen.net).
